Ridge Runner is at the epi-center of Spearhead's Mountain View Trail System. You don't need to be an off road enthusiast to enjoy the great outdoors. Enjoy the 1/4 mile nature walk on site, or the hiking/biking trails in and around St. Paul. Blue Bell Island Trail connects to the St. Paul Downtown and the renowned Sugar Hill Trail. The Clinch River runs through St. Paul with easy access for your tubing, canoeing and kayaking pleasure. Fishing on the agenda? There's plenty of hotspots on the Clinch and other nearby waterways.

There's plenty of opportunities to bike in the area. Sugar Hill to Guest River Gorge Trail begins in St. Paul. Or if you'd like to "bike in the mountains" you might want to try the Heart of Appalachia Bike Trail - 128 miles of scenic back roads! The Heart of Appalachia Bike Trail is the only state designated scenic biking trail in the Commonwealth!
